I began my career in the IT sector after completing my degree in Computer Technology, however spending a day at my friend’s place who ran family daycare sparked my curiosity and interest in the early childhood education sector. Eventually, I went on to complete my Diploma and then Bachelor in Early Childhood Education. For several years, I have engaged in a range of management and teaching roles within the sector, predominantly as an Educational Leader as I have a strong passion for pedagogy. 
 I believe that curiosity is the very basis of education and that is also why my philosophy is strongly influenced by the educational principles of Reggio Emilia. Children’s curiosity, their theories, ideas and most of all, their rights are at the heart of my program. They need to be offered the opportunity to explore everything from seed pods to robotics, with teachers facilitating and learning with them in the process. 
 When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, and my hubby Naveen who is an engineer by profession and hip-hop dancer by nature.
