Hello Families,
Thank you to everyone who came to the Twilight Market, having so many people there made for a great atmosphere full of fun, great food and the chance to get some gifts or pick up some bargains! Thank you to Jo for another outstanding job in coordinating everything, thank you Erin taking charge of the food stall, the very creative caravan and for all the various helpers who manned the stalls. It was a wonderful social event and was great to see some of the new families for next year in attendance too.
This month we held our Annual General Meeting. Whilst there was a small turn out we managed to fill most of the positions on the committee. We still have a vacancy for Grounds and Buildings and IT, if anyone is interested in being involved please contact secretary@elonerapreschool.com.au.
Remember to put important dates such as end of year concert and BBQ in your diary.
As this will be my last report for the year, I would like to thank the outgoing committee for all their support and welcome the incoming committee. It has been a very busy year for many of us on the committee but we have continued to achieve a great deal. I have no doubt the incoming committee will find the work done and identified in the past two years helpful to keep progressing our kindergarten. I would also like to thank the staff for their continued commitment and dedication to both Elonera and the education of our children. They are a truly outstanding group of people.
Lastly, I wish to thank the families of 2017 it has been wonderful to see how you have embraced the community spirit we are trying hard to foster at Elonera and how you have rallied to help improve our kindergarten. I do hope you leave this year to either return for another year of kindergarten or move onto school with many fond memories of this year.
