Hello Families,

I hope you are all keeping well during these colder months.

We had a hugely successful Music Bingo night, it was fantastic to see so many families and staff in attendance and having a good time. A very big thank you Jo who made the night possible and for her work for pulling together the auctions. Jo and I would also like to thank you to all the families who helped in donating and/or sourcing fabulous items for the auctions, we are extremely grateful. We made just over $5000 which is a great result!

Quite often outdoor events slow down as the weather gets colder but due to our fantastic staff this is not the case for Elonera! Our staff have once again come up with a great idea and have donated their time to help us celebrate this year’s Winter Solstice. We are looking forward to sharing in all the lantern walk and enjoying some delicious soup and bread prepared by our very own kindergarten chefs! Thank you to our staff for their continued generosity and commitment to offering our children wonderful experiences.

Lastly, the committee of management has discussed the need to update our strategic plan to ensure that we can continue to deliver an exceptional kindergarten program in line with parents and community expectations, remain financially viable and weather any challenges that come our way. To this end, we have identified and are taking a number of steps to ensure we have a plan going forward. One of these tasks will be engaging with our families to seek their input via a survey. The feedback will be used to help inform this plan and we hope you will be able to take the time to helps us understand what is important to you.

Have a great month.
